Samsys is an official partner of “The World Battle” – International festival of sports and urban culture, where some of the most important international dance competitions take place in the center of the city of Porto (Portugal) and which is distinguished by the protagonists: the dance and sport.
It has more than 65 countries represented by participants, public and supporters.
The International Olympic Committee approved Breaking as an Olympic sport for Paris 2024.

“The World Battle” is also exhibitions, urban market, concerts, djs, mcs, cultural dissemination and artistic trends. In addition to the competitive focus and cultural promotion, there is the festive atmosphere experienced throughout the festival.
About Breaking
Born in the Bronx (New York) in the 70s, Breaking is part of the Hip-Hop subculture, which arises mainly from Latino and African American communities.
Breaking is practiced on all continents, it is estimated that currently 1.2 million B-boys and B-girls compete all over the world through “battles”.
The sport offers unparalleled access to new demographics and opportunities thanks to its undeniable cultural attraction and sporting spectacularity.

BFG WORLD SERIES
BFG World Series is a world qualifying competition for Breaking (certified by WDSF).
Being the Breaking um olympic sport, this same competition is the one that most contributes to the ranking that gives access to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France (worldwide, only 5 World Series will be held).
More than 300 athletes from more than 60 countries will compete and earn points for the world ranking so that their country is represented in the Olympic Games.
